PEDIATRIC HEMATOPATHOLOGY AT SEATTLE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
Our 18-faculty group seeks an academic pathologist with hematopathology boards or experience in all disciplines of pediatric hematology including immunodeficiencies. In addition to morphologic diagnostic expertise and strong skills as a clinical consultant supporting national programs in high-risk leukemia, CAR-T therapy and immunodeficiency disorders, our new colleague must have in-depth knowledge of flow cytometry and applicable laboratory testing. Other desirable qualities include board certification in pediatric pathology, molecular pathology, or expertise in other areas of laboratory medicine. We have unfulfilled opportunities for teaching and collaborative research here in the Emerald City, where the quality of life is unsurpassed. The clinical and laboratory programs at SCH are part of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance combining with the University of Washington and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, affording substantial investigative possibilities.
The Department of Laboratories at Seattle Children’s is founded on collaborative and collegial interactions between the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology faculty and staff who work together to cure, discover and educate.
Applicants should send their CV, statement of experience and interests and a list of at least four references to Dr. Laura Finn, Dept. of Laboratories OC.8.720; Seattle Children’s Hospital, 4800 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105. firstname.lastname@example.org
