Academic Pediatric Pathologist - Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU)

The Department of Pathology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Portland, seeks a full-time academic pathologist with subspecialty training in pediatric pathology. Additional qualifications in another surgical pathology subspecialty would be valuable. Applicants must be board-certified/board-eligible in anatomic pathology and pediatric pathology and be qualified for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of Oregon. Candidates should demonstrate evidence of productivity in an academic setting including a publication record, the ability to work in a collaborative research and clinical environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and an interest in teaching pathology residents and fellows.

OHSU and the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital are Oregon’s major referral and research centers and best ranked adult/pediatric hospitals, with national rankings in six adult specialties and seven children’s specialties. OHSU pediatric pathology covers all surgical pathology services to pediatric patients on the greater OHSU campus including Doernbecher Children’s Hospital (DCH) and Portland Shriners Hospital for Children. We have robust collaborative efforts and research opportunities with our growing pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatric gastrointestinal (GI) services.
