SPP Inaugural Grand Rounds Webinar

Join us for the inaugural Society for Pediatric Pathology Virtual Grand Rounds on January 26, 2021 at 3pm Eastern time. Dr. Jason Hornick, world-renowned expert in soft tissue pathology and editorial board member/contributing author of the WHO Classification of Soft Tissue and Bone Tumours, will join us for a discussion on the topic of "Pediatric benign and intermediate fibroblastic/myofibroblastic neoplasms: what’s new?"

The session will provide valuable insights into the diagnostic features of these challenging tumors with special focus on the application of molecular techniques and immunohistochemistry in classifying these tumors.  The specific learning objectives are:
  1. To recognize the key histologic features of pediatric fibroblastic/myofibroblastic neoplasms
  2. To apply immunohistochemistry in the differential diagnosis of pediatric spindle cell neoplasms
  3. To understand the application of molecular diagnostics for pediatric fibroblastic/myofibroblastic neoplasms

The session is free, albeit it requires a registration. Please register for this SPP event HERE
